Spencer: We're not together. I was drunk and stupid, and after the way I acted, I'm lucky that we're still friends- Are you and I still friends? Ashley: I could use a friend who I can count on in my life. There are enough people who I can't. Spencer: But you can count on me, I promise. Please don't let Saturday night ruin us, okay? Forgive me? Ashley: Forgiven, but you're on probation. Spencer: I'll be better, I promise! Ashley: I've been hearing that a lot lately. Here, listen to this. It's my dad's new album. [Ashley hands Spencer an earbud and they start listening to the music]]
Spencer: I'm your biggest fan. Ashley: Thank you. I need a lot of practice though. I should put some equipment up in my loft. Spencer: I'm so proud of you, you're really taking this seriously. [Spencer places her hand on Ashley's shoulder]
Ashley: Hey! Did you get kicked out already? Spencer: No, I'm waiting for my friend. Ashley: Oh. Spencer: You nervous? Ashley: Yeah, a little. [Spencer gives Ashley her hand and they walk into the dance]
Ashley: I don't know what happened between us. Okay, I do. I wasn't there for you, again. I wanted to be but I, I felt guilty and I didn't call because I still didn't know what to say. But I do know what to say now. The night of the shooting before our entire world fell apart you told me that I needed to choose between you and Aiden. Here I am, I choose you. I need you. Please tell me you need me just a little bit, too.
